Conceived & Directed by Scotty Gunderson

Littler Women is a miniature version of Louisa May Alcott’s classic American story. But this fractured, puppet-filled adaptation deviates from the Little Women plot—with absurdist and touching results.

Featuring Kelsey Cramer as Jo, Gracie Kay Anderson as Meg, Megan Hadley as Beth, and Nissa Nordland as Amy.

"Littler Women from The Buoyant Group doesn't portray Louisa May Alcott's classic novel to a T. The bones of the story are still there: four sisters struggle with life in the absence of their war-bound father...What really works in this play is the combination of actors and puppetry. The actors are dressed in all black and act out a doll-sized version of their character, and all four women are astounding in their roles...There's nothing small about this miniature-sized show...While The Buoyant Group does take certain liberties to modernize and add humor to the beloved novel, the heart is still there."--Morgan Halaska for Twin Cities Daily Planet

"Resetting the action in flashback in the March’s attic...Gunderson’s hilariously warm puppet-driven adaptation allows for lots of humor, heart, and some truly arresting stage imagery. And the spectacular cast...nails the sisterly dynamic of Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy in the way that sisters love and terrorize each other."--Todd O'Dowd for l'etoile magazine
